Christine and Mike are the kind of couple that you fall in love with right away. Their warm smiles, infectious laughter, and obvious love for each other were the key ingredients to make a truly special wedding day. Together with their welcoming families and wedding party, Christine and Mike's day was one of tender moments, hilarity, and true love.
Sparking Hill Resort is a venue that never fails to make you just stop and stare. It is dripping in luxury, from its world-class views to Swarovski crystals as far as the eye can see. Their terrace offers stunning views of the Okanagan Valley, and it was here that Christine and Mike exchanged their marriage vows, as well as beautiful personal vows they had written for each other. There was laughter and many happy tears as Christine and Mike joined hands as husband and wife.
The Okanagan in July is hot and sunny, and Christine and Mike's wedding day was no exception. There was hardly a cloud in the sky, and guests were pleased to cool themselves with unique program fans, decorated with beautiful beads and pearls.
The rich creams and soft pinks of the bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets complimented perfectly the romantic elegance of Christine and Mike's wedding. The groom and groomsmens' boutonnieres were given a masculine touch through the use of greens and succulents.
Every bride looks beautiful on their wedding day. Christine was breathtaking. From the feather details on the bust of her dress to the beaded appliqué on her belt, Christine was a vision of elegant beauty. Her gorgeous bridesmaids, in their soft pink cocktail dresses, were a delicate compliment to the bride's glamorous look.
Mike, you looked okay too. Haha! Mike and his groomsmen definitely scubbed up well, wearing light grey suits with ties to match the bridesmaids' dresses. With their belts and shoes adding an accent of brown, these guys were the finishing touch to one good looking wedding party.
Christine and Mike's wedding day ended as it had begun, with laughter, warmth, and a lot of fun. From hilarious speeches to an intimate first dance, this Sparkling Hill wedding was clearly the beginning of something really special.
